Eat More Ice Cream
That’s the doctor’s advice. And how seldom the doctor prescribes something for you that is really enjoyable and tasty!
And if it’s good for the sick it’s doubly good for the well.

A GOOD DRINK HABIT
The whole family can enjoy this good drink habit, from dad to the youngster.
This refreshing drink has won the favor of thousands by its power to "satisfy." The "kick" that was once needed has been replaced by that bubbling, effervescing "pep," so that wifey and the children have joined dad in this new habit. And they get it from Orange County Drug Company

American Dog Fanciers Raiding English Kennels
LONDON, Apr. 21.—Considerable stir has been caused among English dog fanciers by the recent raids made upon their kennels by American buyers.
A few weeks ago Deykin Surprise, a wire-haired terrier, won a championship at Crutft's Dog Show, at Islington, and in the following week another championship at Birmingham. Now it has been sold to an American for $5,000 and saluted recently on the Aquitania ror the United States.
J. P. Hall, of Horden, County Durham, who was showing Aire-dale terriers at Crutft's, has sold his Champion Warland Ditto, an Aire-dale, to Mrs. Anita Bandwin, of Santa Anito, Cal., for $5,250. Apart from its use as a show dog, this animal was one of the finest Aire-dale stud dogs.
The first dog sold to America for $5,000 was the famous Rodney Stone, which its breeder, Walter Jeffries, sold to Richard Croker. Bulldogs were the fashion just then though the old chief of Tammaray Hall surprised everyone when he agreed to Mr. Jeffries' price.

They're Biting
Just as foolish as trying to shoot a duck with a cap-pistol is the man who goes fishing with inferior tackle. The only fish he'll get will be those that die laughing at his line.
Our fishing tackle is made for the real fisherman and gives the amateur a decided handicap. They're responsible for most of the fish stories you hear, and you can't help believing them once you see such fishing equipment.
