RIVERSIDE ELKS PLAY HERE SUNDAY Anaheim Elks will take the measure of Riverside's antlered crew on the local high school field Sunday afternoon. Anaheim's champions, in their flight for the state title, gained a rather vivid idea of the baseball possibilities of the various Elk teams in So Cal. However, the game tomorrow is with a new team and the results may not be conjectured. This is the first year Riverside Elks have entered a team in the state pennant race. Further than repeated assertions that they have succeeded in lining up some fast baseball talent, their potentialities are not known here. Hence the game tomorrow will be of more than usual interest as Anaheim fans are anxious to know just where are located the strongest contenders for this year's cup. Manager Billy Knott of the Anaheim aggregation has been besieged with requests for a game with Norwalk which has had a team for several years and which claims to have a well balanced organization, having shown up some of the best lineups in L.A. Norwalk will probably be brot along a week from Sunday. ANAHEIM LAUNDRY MAKES NEW MARKS New bowling history for Anaheim was made last night when the Anaheim Laundry, last night on local alleys, defeated the fast MacKenzie Colts three straight in the So Cal. Bowling leagues. The locals crashed a total of 2921 runs for the three games. In the third game they toppled 1048. These are the highest scores for single game and series ever made by a local team. Evans was the bright and shining star for Anaheim with a total of 628, toppling 236 in the third round.
