ARABIAN STRINGED ORCHESTRA AT CAL.
Coming to the California Theatre tomorrow as the head-liner on the Meiklejohn and Dunn vaudeville road show is one of the most strikingly different acts that has ever been seen in vaudeville. The Arabian Stringed Orchestra is composed of natives of the orient and have been in this country only a short time. However, the syncopation which they have to offer quite surpasses any which has been heard in this country. Jazz in its truest form abounds in this act and many weird melodies from the orient will be played by this wonderful troupe of musicians.
Eddie De Coma and Ray Bartelle offer a very different acrobatic tumbling act. Comedy is the foundation of their offering and the hair raising stunts which this wreckless duo performed are mingled with unusual stunts which will cause much merriment.
That well known star of the films, George Larkin, is making his debut into vaudeville, with a most pretentious act. Mr. Larkin, together with his company, offers a series of beautiful and colorful dances. Miss Betty Gray, who is a featured member of this company, does several dances that are sure to win much applause. This act carries special scenery that is very unusual and this dance offering has many pretty costumes.
Cerve is an accordionist with a million dollar personality, and every one who hears him will enjoy him.
On the screen, in addition to the five acts of vaudeville, the feature photoplay, "Flightin' Mad" will be shown. William Desmond is the star of this picture and he is said to do some of his best work in this photoplay.

El Camino Rancho
The greatest Irrigated Orchard and Farm land offering in California.
The Finest Silt Loam land at $250 to $300 per acre.
T. R. Le Page, formerly of Santa Ana, writes: "I don't believe there is another irrigation system in the state that equals ours here."
A. T. Liebig, formerly of Long Beach, writes: "Never saw better land than El Camino Rancho."
A. C. Drendel, formerly of Chino, writes: "You have no fogs and have more sunshine which ripens the fruit earlier and you get it on the early market."
Alex McCullagh sold his last season's Royal Ann and Black Tartarian Cherries for $1875 an acre.
R. W. McEwen sold his apricots last year for $700 an acre and says: "We have had excellent crops of apricots 23 out of the last 25 years."
George Shumway says: "My young prune orchard paid me $700 an acre last year."
PACIFIC LAND CORPORATION,
El Camino Rancho.
Dear Sirs:
I came here from Long Beach, Calif., where I still have a home and other property and bought 100 acres at El Camino. I was favorably impressed with this country when I first came to see it, and the longer I remain and observe and study conditions as they actually are here, and in the neighborhood, also the strong future possibilities open here to energetic and thrifty men, the more am I pleased and impressed.
The natural resources of this locality spring from the combined harmony of choice soil, splendid climate, and an ample supply of water for irrigation purposes. Good schools, fine roads, the best of transportation, excellent well water for domestic and culinary purposes, a wholesome community spirit among the settlers, are all secondary in importance to the above three fundamentals, soil, climate and water, but they are all here and make for success.
There is absolutely no guess work about it, the facts are self-evident on the ground and in the neighborhood. We can raise prolific crops at EL CAMINO of the full variety of fruits grown elsewhere in California. And most, if not all of them, ripen earlier here than in Central and Southern California, at least I believe this to be the case after talking with people here and with others from various parts of the state. This big advantage in fruit ripening earlier than elsewhere should mean a great deal of extra profit to the growers by being first on the market and getting top prices.
The soil is what I would call a silt loam carrying a light mixture of fine gravel, some might term it an alluvial deposit, but whatever it is it certainly produces abundantly of olives, peaches, apricots, pears, prunes, grapes, figs, cherries, oranges, lemons, almonds, walnuts, melons of all kinds, vegetables and the full variety of farm crops such as alfalfa, sudan grass, the several varieties of maize, wheat, barley, etc.
Farm crops generally thrive here, so if anyone prefers to engage in farming rather than orcharding, or combine the two, the situation here is well adapted to it and as to the value of these crops I do not believe they will suffer in comparison with those from any other section of California.

We are only 122 miles from Sacramento, 186 miles from San Francisco, with the west valley State boulevard passing through the Tract and continuing all the way to both cities and on down through the State. The Southern Pacific main line to Portland crosses the East end of the tract and we have graded and gravelled wagon roads over most of the project now developed. It is not easy to find a land project nowadays that carries all of the advantages I have here mentioned. Last, but not least, is the fact that the people here who comprise the Development Company are obliging and straightforward men to deal with and I commend them and the Enterprise to all who wish to buy land.
Yours truly,
F. E. WAKEMAN,
