A number of the local farm- center members attended the meeting of the Buena Park farm center Monday evening. A very interesting meeting was reported, especially the refreshment number. Those who attended were Mr. and Mrs. M. C. Chase, Mr. and Mrs. H. H. Covell and Mr. and Mrs. D. C. Batis. Leasing for oil rights is going steadily on throughout this section. The Lessors Co. have some 500 acres besides the original lease. They feel confident of raising the 1000 acres required by the Bulloch interest and if successful drilling will start in the very near future. Many of our good folk were in Santa Ana yesterday to attend court proceedings to establish Torrena titles to their property. Those from the Cypress vicinity were; J. H. Hollings-worth, S. J. Scally, J. P. Street, M. M. Carpenter, Mikuel Hein, M. H. Shirley, John Preston, E. O. Pike, M. C. Chase, H. LaRue, W. C. Miller, A. Bettendorf, S. D. Winters, Mat Schauntz, H. E. Lucas, Ed. Peterson, W. D. Ledford, Mrs. J. P. Moody, Sam Miller, H. H. Covell, G. L. McWilliams and A. J. Smith. Several had made applications failed to appear and a few asked to withdraw. The floor to the Fuquay garage is completed. If the rain godo holds off work of erecting the walls start immediately. Robert Sconce one of the town's most wonderful unmarried men was a business visitor to Santa Ana yesterday. He was all dressed up with a purple fringed handkerchief in his top left hand pocket. Morning Folks: I was down to Santa Ana to the Torrena Title hearing in Judge Williams' court. There wasn't much excitement at the meeting but I gained considerable information. I never did know some of my neighbors' pet names. For instance, I did not know that P. stood for Philander and J. for Josh—he is very sensitive on that name but you get what I mean. Then there is the funny woman's: I mean the funny names for women. Such as Tina and she weighed a 180. HER AILMENTS ALL GONE NOW Mrs. Sherman Helped by Lydia E. Morning Folks: I was down to Santa Ana to the Torrens Title hearing in Judge Williams' court. There wasn't much excitement at the meeting but I gained considerable information. I never did know some of my neighbors' pet names. For instance, I did not know that P. stood for Philander and J. for Josh — he is very sensitive on that name but you get what I mean. Then there is the funny woman's. I mean the funny names for women. Such as Tina and she weighed a 180. One old Batch was so flustered to appear before so many women that he was inaudible. He was excused and another called. After several minutes Judge Williams happened to think that he had forgotten to ask the Batch if he had ever been married. The question was asked and the Batch bellowed. No! rom the back of the court room and left for the safety of his home. If it had not been for the funny names the day would have been very slow, but as it was we enjoyed ourselves very well. Yours, SARGUM SPROUT. VOTE ON TREATY MARCH 24 WASHINGTON, March 16.—The Senate has set March 24 as the date for the final vote on the four-power treaty. The opponents or the pact, of whom the leaders are Johnson, Reed, Borah, Robinson and La Follette decided that further debate would not add to their strength. A close vote is anticipated. ALL GONE NOW Mrs. Sherman Helped by Lydia E. Pinkham's Vegetable Compound Lake, Michigan.—"About one year ago I suffered with irregularities and a weakness and at times was obliged to stay off my feet. I doctored with our family physician and he finally said he could not understand my case, so I decided to try Lydia E. Pinkham's Vegetable Compound. After I had taken the first bottle I could see that I was getting better. I took several bottles of the Vegetable Compound and used Lydia E. Pinkham's Sanative Wash and I am entirely cured of my ailments. You may publish this letter if you wish."—Mrs. MARY SHERMAN, Route 2, Lake, Mich. There is one fact women should consider and that is this. Women suffer from irregularities and various forms of weakness. They try this and that doctor, as well as different medicines. Finally they take Lydia E. Pinkham's Compound, and Mrs. Sherman's experience is simply another case showing the merit of this well-known medicine. If your family physician fails to help you and the same old troubles persist, why isn't it reasonable to try Lydia E. Pinkham's Vegetable Compound?
