Sports Smoked Irishmen Revamp Lineup Jupiter Pluvius willing, pastime fans are assured some real sport tomorrow afternoon at the high school field when Anaheim's champ Elks clash with the Alexander Colored Giants of Los Angeles in the second of a three-game series. Smarting under last Sunday's 18 to 0 flaseo, the worst defeat in years to be handed the smoked Irishmen, regarded as the fastest semi-pro team in Los Angeles, the pick of the talent from the Giants regular team and also the Los Angeles White Sox will be pitted against Anaheim's scoring machine. The colored men will lineup as follows: McNarr, lf; Charleston, cf; Carr, rf; Mackey, 3rd; Foote, ss; Fagan, 2; Hawkins, 1; Jeffries, Taylor and Barr, p; Pullen, c. This is a much different lineup from the one that faced the Elks last Sunday. "We're going to bring down a better team this time," the colored manager phoned Boss Billy Knott of the Elks last night. They all want a chance at the Elks and it is merely a question of Manager Knott scheduling them, made difficult by the number of inclement Sundays experienced this winter. After the series with the colored men, Pasadena Elks, Anaheim's old rivals, are anxious for a three-game series. Riverside and Redondo Elks also want a whack at the locals while A Plain Dealer Classified Messenger Will Tell Your Story to 18,000 People in Northern Orange County.
