A certain woman has purchased a 'scrap book' and is going to fill it with sprouts from Sargum's pen. We never did any one any harm, why should we be picked on to fill a scrapbook? This woman is our friend and we want her to be, but why can't she lay off this scrap book stuff. We might want to run for town judge or something and it would be awful to have a woman rise up in meeting and read your wise sayings from a scrapbook. On the other hand, if we don't furnish material for that dern book, we will loose a friend and a vote. After this, if you see some foolish bits of writing with Sargum's name below, just remember they are scraps for as book... Worried, SARGUM SPROUT.
