Farmer’s Wife Tells How Lydia E. Pinkham’s Vegetable Compound Made Her a Well Woman Carter’s Creek, Tenn. — “Three years ago I was almost an invalid. I spent half of my time in bed, being afflicted with a trouble which women of a certain age are apt to have. I took Lydia E. Pinkham’s Vegetable Compound Tablets and used Lydia E. Pinkham’s Sanative Wash. I am a well woman now and have been for two years. I can work as well as any one who is younger and as I am a farmer’s wife I have plenty to do for I cultivate my own garden, raise many chickens and do my own housework. You may publish this letter as I am ready to do anything to help other women as I have been so well and happy since my troubles are past.”—Mrs. E.T. Galloway, Carter’s Creek, Tenn. Most women find plenty to do. If they are upset with some female ailment and troubled with such symptoms as Mrs. Galloway had, the smallest duty seems a mountain. If you find it hard to keep up, if you are nervous and irritable, without ambition and out of sorts generally, give the Vegetable Compound a fair trial. We believe it will help you greatly, for it has helped others. Country Club met in an interesting session yesterday afternoon when they met at the home of Mrs. George Rebman on the County road. PRESENTS HIGH-CLASS COMEDY Anaheim, lovers of high-class amusement are enthusiastic about the coming presentation of the successful comedy, "The Professor's Dilemma," which will be presented at the Fairyland Theatre, Wednesday evening, Feb. 1 under the auspices of Anaheim lodge I. O. O.F. Not only will this be the greatest dramatic event of the season, but it will also be the social event. Many theatre parties are being arranged. The Odd Fellows lodge of Anaheim represents our leading citizens both in business and social life. There is perhaps no organization in our community having the personnel equal to that of the Odd Fellows. A full representation will be in attendance Wednesday evening. It is a well known fact that Anaheim in its social life has always demanded the highest type of entertainment and each season we have from two to three of these events. Musical events have already been given which have attracted wide-spread attention, but so far this season nothing of unusual nature has been produced in the dramatic line, "The Professor's Dilemma," which is recognized as one of the most successful comedies ever written, will fill this niche. The comedy is clean and wholesome and is replete with striking dramatic situations. At Long Beach and Santa Ana the people were turned away from the theatre not being able to, as its capacity was not large enough to accommodate all who desired seats, so the play was repeated by general request and a most successful second evening was given in each place. The people composing the cast are well known favorites and are recognized for their dramatic ability. Tickets are on sale at the Mullinix drug store and by members of the order. The curtain will rise promptly at 8:15. GUESTS IN DR.
