ONUSES FOR ROCK BOTTOM STORE FOLKS
The Rock Bottom store employees did their annual meeting in Los Angeles, at the Produce Exchange. Over two hundred members of the organization were present. The meeting was addressed by the president, J. A. Daley.
Mr. Daley reported that the company had made considerable gain in the past year despite the fact that the market showed some unusual declines. The statement of the company, as outlined by Mr. Daley, shows that they made 15 per cent on the outstanding capital stock, and that addition to having paid a 50 per cent stock dividend in September of 21, they are at this time carrying 22 per cent surplus, making a total over 75 per cent in profits and plus during the four years of operation under the present management.
The employees were given bonus checks totaling over $2,500 for the first quarter of the year, making a total of over $10,000 paid to Rock Bottom employees in bonuses during the last year. This bonus payment is in addition to any salary, and paid only to the sale of the merchandise manufactured by this company.
Mr. Daley announced the change name of Rock Bottom Stores to Daley's Rock Bottom Stores, with the further announcement that on July 1st, the words "Rock Bottom" would dropped and the name would be Daley's Stores." On the 1st of February, the company expects to place one hundred thousand shares of its capital stock on the market for the purpose of further expansion, and Mr. Daley expressed the belief that before the year 1922 had passed, Daley's Rock Bottom Stores would number better than 100.

SOME GOOD ADVICE
Strengthened by Anaheim Experiences
Kidney disease is too dangerous to neglect. At the first sign of backache, headache, dizziness or urinary disorders, you should give the weakened kidneys prompt attention. Eat little meat, take things easier and use a reliable kidney tonic. There’s no other kidney medicine so well recommended as Doan’s Kidney Pills. Anaheim people rely on them. Here’s one of the many statements from Anaheim people.
S. C. Marburger, carpenter, 121 S. Ohio St., says: “I can endorse Doan’s Kidney Pills as a good remedy. My kidneys got out of order and I had severe backache and pains over my kidneys. When I stooped I had sharp catches in my back. My kidneys acted irregularly and I used Doan’s Kidney Pills. They were just what I needed. Doan’s soon fixed me up in good shape. The backache left and my kidneys acted naturally.”
