Fullerton will meet Anaheim next Friday at Fullerton in the third league game. ANAHEIM 51-G. G. 2 Anaheim vanquished Garden Grove 51 to 2 in basketball last night. Elmer "Gloomy Gus" Henderson, U.S.C.'s famous mentor, said: "As necessary as it is for a coach to develop winning teams—a coach averages only three years at one school—I would rather lose with good sportsmanship than win otherwise. The proudest moment of the recent season was when we finished the Oregon game, two teams having played 60 minutes without a single penalty." Other speakers were Coach J. A. Pipal, Occidental; Coach E. H. Perry, Whittler; Coach Eugene W. Nixon, Pomona, and Coach Guy A. Daniels, Redlands Univ. C. and G. R. Jones, Fullerton automobile dealers, objected to buying Walter E. Smith and B. A. Smith return to them an Oakland car which the Smiths bought last June for a price of $1,627 and which they gave back to the dealers November 30. Accordingly, the Jones' filed suit in superior court against the Smiths, alleging that title to the car had passed to the defendants and they therefore had not returned the machine. The plaintiffs asked judgment for $1,060.96, which they alleged remained unpaid on the purchase price, also $100 attorney fees.
