Tuesday, December 13, 1921 SPORTING EVENTS CHALLENGES FLOAT ABOUT PROMISCUOUS There's something funny about bowling. Ever so often, a certain group of individuals get together, and after considerable chin music, decide that they're about the best yet in toppling ten pins. Fortunately, for the good of humanity in general, there is always another group available to dispute this feeling of elation. A case in point has come to light from the press agent of a crew of fathletes at the Studebaker garage. The following challenge, which, by the way, has been answered, is interesting as a document in the course of human events: "We all know what hampens to a poisoned pup, which brings to light the fact that the swelling is mostly in the body, not the head. Now it has been brought to my mind that there exists somewhere in the Riley Studebaker organization a new disease, causing considerable swelling of the head, caused by excessive belief in bowling ability of certain attaches. We the undersign guarantee to cure this disease anytime within the next 14 days—we use no drugs: Dr. Bruce, G.G. Specialist, Knocks. Dr. Payne, A.B. Specialist, Grief and Groans. Dr. Craig, S.S.
