Santa Claus is going to visit Weber's Book and Music Store tomorrow afternoon, between 2:30 and 5 o'clock, and he wants to meet every boy and girl in Anaheim and all his little friends in the surrounding community. Santa will be on the second floor of the store where there are loads and loads of toys for Christmas. He has a message for the children which he can deliver only in person. If the boys and girls will go in to meet him there they will not be disappointed. Columbia Records at 308 E. Center. ORANGE BANQUETS A. C. OF C. WEDNESDAY The regular monthly meeting of the Ass. New plans for the biggest social event of the school are being daily contributed and discussed, and faculty and students are working hard to make this affair a great success. Bordenave for alleged non-payment of rent on a piece of beet sugar land lying a few miles northwest of Anaheim, will be tried before Justice of the Peace J. S. Howard this afternoon. The defendant claimed he owed for only one-fourth of the crop, or $20.00, which he paid. The plaintiff claims Bordenave agreed to pay a rental of $200.00. The crop of sugar beets was sold for $80.00. Benner is a local plumber. William P. Webb, Jr., is his attorney, and J. U. Hemml will represent Bordenave. "What does this mean?" asks R. L. Moore of Selby & Moore Co., distributor for Gill storage batteries, the non-separator starting and lighting battery which is manufactured in California. "It means," said R. L. Moore, answering his own question, "that batteries of today have a pretty regular habit of getting out of condition, not probably as much the fault of the battery, as the driver of the car. You will look through the columns of the automobile sections and So-and-So, who sells a certain battery, tells motorists to watch their battery and give it a regular drink or have a doctor, watch it with care—or if will die while still an infant. "This means that you have to nurse along the battery with separators, or it will not be fit for service. Because of the absence of separators, the Gill battery gives the motorist freedom from worry of every kind. Water, of course, should be put in once in a while, but only occasionally. The Gill battery is as near fool-proof as it is possible to build, and still stand up under strenuous service for a satisfactory period of time."
