STARBUCK ISSUES LAST RED X APPEAL
To Red Cross Members and Friends in Fullerton Chapter and Auxiliaries: This will be my last call to you in this great annual roll call.
First I wish to thank the newspapers for their hearty help and good will.
It has been made so pleasant in every section and all these busy people have been so anxious to do what they could that I consider it the privilege of my life to have been permitted to have conducted the roll call. But in spite of everything, some may be missed, and as we wish to give everyone chance to participate in this, one of the greatest works I know of I have arranged the

The city had agreed to sell the site at cost, which is just north of the city hall on No. Spadra-rd, occupying half a block and the cost was figured last night as being $19,168. A resolution was adopted for the deal between the hotel committee and the city to be put thru, and the matter was referred to the attorney with instructions to arrange for the transfer.
