High School Notes
Anaheim's fighting spirit was manifest this morning in the auditorium when students gathered to hear the first of the Orange-co debates. The struggle was between Santa Ana in the negative side and Anaheim with the affirmative. The visiting opponents were Mr. Harper and Miss Wilson. Anaheim was represented by Ted Seins and Henry Hodges. Miss Alma Barmes acted as chairman. The judges were members of the faculty from Huntington Beach high school. The question was: "Resolved that the immediate limitation of armaments is imperative to the general welfare of the world. The decision given was unanimously in favor of the Anaheim team."

At the same time the debate was in progress here the Anaheim negative team was battling with Fullerton. The representatives there were Miss Agnes Harkness and Wm. Abplanalp. Fullerton received the decision of two of the three judges.
A practice game was held on the local court last evening when Santa Ana H. S. girls' basketball team, which has been playing only a short time, lost to Anaheim 50 to 4. This does not count in the league. The Anaheim girls playing last night were centers, rFances Adams and Ella Cook; guards, Helen Campbell May Requarth and Stella Bastian; forwards, Melba Dugas, Katherine Huarte and Helen Daly.
