NEFF MEETS DREW AT DELHI ARENA
Chet Neff will meet George Drew in the main event at the Delhi Athletic clubs arena below Santa Ana Wednesday day night. In the semi-windup, Young Button will clash with Kid Young.
The preliminaries are Jose Choney vs. Battling Frankie, Kid Louie vs. Lucky Flynn and Nerrara vs. Young Red Watson.
Fullerton high school has raised a "hue and cry" against Anaheim high school, charging them with "dapidity" because, according to Fullerton, they had the Fullerton team all worked up to the utmost energy in anticipation of a football game on Armistice Day, and now there won't be any game between the two until Saturday.
"Anaheim is to blame," walls Fullerton, "for she wanted 25 per cent of our gate receipts. We never get any of Anaheim's gate receipts, and can't afford to give any of our Armistice Day. There'll be game Saturday, but there won't be any crowd."
Siejem, Tige.
However, the Fullerton junior college will play Long Beach at Fullerton Armistice Day, according to schedule.
WOMAN SUES MAN AS CRASH RESULT
Damages in the sum of $281.20 for the wrecking of a Ford sedan, and $500 for loss of its services, making a total of $781.20; were asked by Sue Black in a suit filed today in superior court against Geo. Monberg.
The complaint states that on July 23, plaintiff was driving her sedan past the intersection of Main and D-ats, at Tustin, when the car was struck by another car, belonging to Monberg, which was being driven by his brother. Negligence of Monberg is blamed for the accident, in which the sedan was alleged to have been damaged to the extent stated.

JAMES E.STEWART HEADQUARTERS FOR SUBURBAN ACRE AND
RANCE DESIRES REAL REDUCTION
WASHINGTON, Nov. 5. "France desires a real reduction in armament. Briefly the French army has been reduced one-third. The people are looking to the Washington Conference on Limitation of Armament with the hope that it will make still further reductions of armament possible," said Daniel Couve, director of the French Protestant Foreign Mission Society and former chapel in the French army today.
He is in America conferring with officials of the Federal Council of the churches of Christ in America so that the Protestants of France may cooperate in the world-wide observance of prayer for the Conference on Sunday, November 6, on Armistice Day, and during the sessions of the conference.
"The real people of France are not militarists. They went to war because they were obliged to go; but they did not like it, and now they are so tired of it that even military parades become painful to them."
"It must not be forgotten that France is an agricultural country; that there are very few big cities; and that the greater part of the population belongs to the peasant class. These are the people whose public opinion compelled Parliament to reduce the time of military service for all men of 20 years old from three men to two years with a promise, on the part of the government, to reduce to 18 months as soon as the reduction of the military occupation of the Rhine Valley should permit it."
"It is true that as a compensation Minister of War obtained from parliament the right of increasing the black (African) army. Nevertheless the reduction under the pressure of public opinion of the French army by 33 per cent is already a manifestation of the will of our people to get to a near disarmament."

THE TIME TO BUY ORANGE GROVES
Later on when crop is colored groves will show twice the crop and prices for groves will advance. It has been so every year. Many groves will then be taken off the market. Others will be higher.

The finest and the best 20.4 acre orange grove that stands on God's footstool. The foregoing is rather a broad statement but when I can produce figures which will show its financial power it must of necessity mean that I can show you something worthy of consideration If you are a citrus man the big trees, so radiant in health, thrifty in appearance, with an exceptionally heavy setting for next bearing, will impress you.Every inch of soil is absolutely the best in Orange county.I have personally inspected this grove, and have failed to find a weak feature attached to this splendid acreThis grove will show an earning power of over $1000 an acre for this year.Inherent is its wonderful location to be consideredonly three blocks from the new postoffice near the new city park,a block and a half from the Park View tract.with the church on one street and the High School on the otherwith a frontage on three streets.Just think what this will mean in a very short time. Can't you as a business man see the subdivision possibilities connected with this. The only reason this opportunity is offered is due to the fact that one of the owners is desirous of returning East. You can purchase this wonderful grove at a very reasonable price.Just fumigated.
5 acres of 5-year-old Valencias that would do your heart good to see.The trees have an exceptionally heavy set
