Friday, October 28, 1921 SPORTING EVENTS LOST OF INTEREST IN SEMI-WINDUP BOUT A rattling good card of bouts has been lined up by Matchmaker. Billy Darley for tonight's doings at Sparka' flastic farm with Jack Spar and Geo. Drew featuring in the lineup. Both these boys are expected to put up a regular battle and fight fans should witness no disappointment here. They are both fit and ready for the sound of the gong that will send them on their way. The semi-windup, too, is creating a lot of interest. When Chick Brown, the Huntington Beach scrapper, gets going against Eddie Mackey, of Los Angeles, fur is sure going to fly. Both are cheer boxers with a real punch. The preliminaries all look interesting and there should be some lively action should be there. Bennie Heller meets Teddy O'Brien of Presno at 118 pounds, Joe Chaney, the Whittler Flash, tangles with Roy Elliard, of Huntington Beach, while Battling Able of Placentia, hooks up with Paul Darden, another Huntington Beach scrapper, at 122 pounds.
