Conservatism and Simplicity Not in Suits and Other Clothing SIMPLICITY is the keynote of full fashions for men's suits. All tracies of the novelty garments have been affixed by the designers who have reduced them with a vastly more graceful, practical vogue. One dependant upon superior tailoring and high grade materials for its class rather than on trick features as in the past seasons. The tendency to conservatism is more adapted to the well-dressed business man, providing a more dignified bearing, conductive to true power. The sporty suit has been succeeded by one that is more refined and correct. Quality Mark of Distinction Relaxing from their efforts to produce the so-called "smart" effects, designers have decreed that suits rely solely on their quality for distinction. Discriminating dressers have always been aware that it is impossible to imitate the elegant simplicity of high grade clothes with cheaper substitutes, so perhaps it was their attempt prohibitive prices in the past few years that begot the vogue of extreme suits. The fact that the clothes purchasing power of a dollar has increased nearly fifty per deal is probably, likewise, accountable for its abolition.
