Mrs. E. Wisser and Misses Emma and Alice Wister and friends will motor to Redondo tomorrow to spend the day.
Mr. Arthur Harris and daughter, Esther, of Madison, Kansas, have been visiting his sister, Mrs. F. A. Filter, and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. T. T. Harris, for the past two weeks. They have been visiting the mountains and beaches and places of interest during their visit.

relatives in Santa Ana were visiting here with the Bever family yesterday.
C. P. J. Johnson, R. F. D. carrer on route S. Anaheim is enjoying a 18 days' vacation, beginning this week. Edward Anderson is substitute during his absence.
Mr. and Mrs. J. O. Reed and Miss Marjorie and Frances Reed and Mr. Donald will spend several days at Strawberry Flats. Miss Ruth Reed, who has been spending several weeks there will return with them.
Mr. Herbert Olke has returned to Anaheim after having been in New York City for about a year. While here he was an employee in the First National bank. In New York he was associated with the Hanover National bank. Before returning to Anaheim he was touring the New England States in an automobile. His many friends will be glad to find that he is here to stay.
Miss Elsa Block of the Dunton Ford Agency has left for a week's vacation at So. California beaches.
Mr. and Mrs. Fred Kort of Olive-st, and their brother and sister-in-law, have left for the Yosemite.
Mr. and Mrs. McQuarter, who have been Anaheim residents for some time, moved yesterday to Long Beach. Mr. McQuarter is superintendent of an oil lease at Signal Hill.
Workmen have almost completed painting the Magnolia school building and its appearance is greatly improved. The board of directors is anxious to secure another teacher for the primary department, as a vacancy has occurred recently.
Dr. Harry G. Huffman left Saturday for Omaha after a very pleasant visit with his sister, Mrs. Arthur Arnold May, on West Broadway, and his mother, Mrs. G. F. Huffman, in Santa Ana. Dr. Huffman is finishing his internship in a hospital in Omaha and plans to return to the Southland, at its conclusion, to establish a practice.
