Mr. and Mrs. H. Crary, 23 West Malvern-ave, with their daughter Mrs. A. E. Johnston have returned from a three weeks motor trip north during which they visited Yosemite and Lake Tahoe, spending eight days in camp in the valley. They were accompanied by friends from Los Angeles, making a two-hour party, and traveled in leisurely rablies over the Ridge Route and through Tioga Pass, returning via Sacramento, San Francisco and the coast route.
Mrs. Stella Williamson of Los Angeles is spending the summer at the home of her son C. Williamson of Fullerton.
Miss Lillian Teague and Miss Clara C. Stephens returned Sunday from trip to Cuba, New Orleans, Arkansas and other points of interest.
Roccos Brown and family recently from Minnesota have established themselves at 132 West Wurstate.
Twenty indies of the Baptist Missionary Society drove to Hollenbeck, Los Angeles yesterday to enjoy an all-day picnic.

young people's summer conference at Occidental college, Los Angeles, which starts today and will be session until Aug. 19.

D-Cradle Boil, Beginners and Primary Methods. A discussion of the best methods of the work for children of the church from birth to nine years of age.
E-Advanced Young People's Methods. A study of the need for accorrelated program for young people and of simple effective ways of providing that program through existing young people's organizations without the present overlap of effort and program.
F-Life Work Choice for a Christian. A presentation of the challenge to full time service and the many and Margaret, Mr. and Mrs. Penhy and children, Hugh Kenneth and Elliza Beth; and Mrs. Thompson, all of Pomona. They all enjoyed a big picnic dinner.
