SOCIETY
WOMEN'S BIBLE CLASS SOCIAL
The Monthly social gathering of the Women's Bible class of the Presbyterian Sunday school was held at the home of the Misses Aubert on Tuesday afternoon, June 7. It was a most enjoyable and profitable meeting. After a prayer by Mrs. Wickett, business was transacted while the ladies were busy with needlework. The president, Mrs. W. T. Wallop, proposed several plans for mutual improvement and greater usefulness to others as the opportunity is offered, urging faithful and constant attendance and punctuality in the class. A profitable time was spent in a contest on especially noted persons in old testament history. Late in the afternoon refreshments were served by the hostesses of the day.
Miss Dora Clark, Mrs. Cupp and Miss Elise Aubert. The home was beautifully decorated with carvings, pinks, Flanders popples and sweet peas.
