Straight from the great sunlit bakery comes the bread in the orange and blue wrapper, the heavy waxed wrapper that seals in the flavor of the Jevne bread.
What that name Jevne means on bread! Not just the name of a baker but the name of a quality, a standard that has made California famous for pure food for nearly forty years.
Look for that name on the wrapper of the bread you buy. When you take off the wrapper you will see the name again branded right into the loaf, a loaf which is different in shape and in taste than any other you buy.
The Jevne bread is eaten with a relish to the last crust.
