Society: Clubs: Lodges: Churches DELIGHTFUL SOCIAL EVENT Mrs. Ray Fisher was hostess this afternoon at a most delightful social event at her home at 123 N. Helenast. The affair was a courtesy for Mrs. Daniels and Miss Beamer, teachers in the N. Citron school where Tom and Claire Fisher are students. This has become an annual event in the Fisher home and one which proves unusually pleasing. The first part of the hours of courtesy, which were from 2:30 until 5, were spent in games. Prizes which had been offered caused a keen but friendly rivalry. Some of the games were played on the lawn. A color scheme of pink and white had been used in the decorations, the dining room was indeed a thing of beauty with the table, at which covers had been laid for 16, daintily appointed with a profusion of Cecil Brunner rose buds and baby's breath. Baby's breath and streamers were fastened from the chandelier and feathers had been laid for 16, daintily ap- of pink and white with candy were used as favors and the place cards had been cleverly arranged to sharpen the wits of the guests. Kewpies in link and white were given a place on the table also. A dainty luncheon of five different kinds of cake, ice cream in pink and white, and punch were served. Mrs. Fisher was assisted in the serving and in the engineering of the games by Miss Elizabeth Donnelly. The guests included Mrs. Daniels, Miss Beamer, Virginia and Jeanette Peck, Janet Fraser, Lila Mae Narath, Vivian Goff, Henrietta Huseman, Edith Boege, Philip Pfiefer, Melvin Randall, Jack Erickson, Neil Beat, Arthur Saunders, with Claire and Tom Fisher, doing the honors. BAULMER-CORDES NUPTIALS A quiet wedding was solemnized this morning at 9 o'clock at St. Boniface Catholic church uniting in marriage Mrs. Marie Baulmer and Mr. J. C. Cordes of this city. Rev. Father Brown celebrated high nuptial mass. The bride and groom were attended by Mr. and Mrs. A. Kluewer of this city. Following the services at the church, a wedding breakfast was served at the Dew Drop Inn, and later Mr. and Mrs. Cordes left for Los Angeles where they took a train for San Francisco. They will return in two weeks, and be at home to their friends on the groont's ranch on the county road. Mr. Cordes is well known in Anaheim where he has resided for many years.
