LEG PIERCED THRU BY HORN OF BULL The ingrate who smote the hand that fed him had nothing in the way of infamy upon a Durham bull that has been tramping the Laguna hills. This bull was dying. He was choking to death. A young man freed him. Instead of licking his rescuer's hand the bull chased him, and just as mild rescuer was climbing the fence the Durham horned him through the leg. The movies and matadors ought to have been on hand. However, the affair was not staged. It was one of those exciting things that without fixing develop in the life of the cowboy. This particular scene occurred near the Irvine cattle ranch house at the head of Newport Hay. Men employed on the cattle ranch were engaged in gathering together a bunch of steers or shipment to market. The animals picked for slaughter were being driven into a pen. There was one animal, a bull, who had an ingrowing objection to the whole affair. It was decided to throw a rope over his horns and drag him in. The rope was thrown, but the aim of the trower was not true. The rope instead of settling with Tom Mix accuracy upon its target slipped down around the bull's neck. At Fairyland Tuesday. Clarence Burton, Agnes in Cecil B. DeMilles rope," yelled somebody to Raymond McCarroll, aged 19, who was standing outside the fence. "He's choking to death." WESSON OIL not only makes things good to eat, but is itself a more nourishing food than almost anything else you eat. WESSON OIL is much richer than butter, because butter contains salt and water and purds as well as fat. WESSON OIL is all pure fat.
