Morning Folks:
Little Bebe Daniels is getting lots of good space in our newspapers these days. Bebe is a nice little kid I guess but why should she be given so much attention? She broke the law and should be treated just like the rest, or any nice girl!
There are a lot of people donating to Bebe's comfort that have objects of charity in their neighborhood that they do not and would not give a penny to support. We have many top-sided people running loose, they are great on donating for notoriety but absolutely nil when it comes to donating to a real cause.
Getting back to Bebe, she is having a nice little play day; lots of attention, just as comfortable as if she were at home. Will she gain much of a lesson from this imprisonment? Is it a good example to set before the public?
Don't you suppose that there are lots of prisoners in our prisons that are just as good just as sweet as Bebe? If one deserves to rest on a bed of roses, why not all?
If you put 'em in prison, make it a prison, not a palace.
