WITNESSES FAIL TO IDENTIFY ACCUSED W. P. Brasher of Fullerton, arrested on complaint of Contractor Steel Finley, who charged him with driving his auto over a closed road east of the cast limits of Anaheim, brot before Justice Cox yesterday, was dismissed when two witnesses brot in by Finley declared they could not positively identify Brasher as the man who removed the barricades at one end of the closed road and then drove over the "green" cement. The two witnesses were B. E. Donaldson and P. O. Maboney. They stopped a machine that had started over the road on the night of March 17 and secured the license number and Mahoney claims that the driver of the car said his name was Brasher. When asked in court whether or not he could identify the defendant as the man whom he stopped he said that he could not. TEST PLOTS FOR FERTILIZER Test plots to determine the value of the use of sulphur and gypsum as fertilizers for alfalfa were established today by County Farm Advisor H. E. Wahberg on the W. L. Wakham ranch. Greenville, Alfalfa growers turnout the county will be greatly interested in the outcome of the tests. Sulphur will be used on one acre, and gypsum on another. A gypsum demonstration plot was also established today in the citrus grove of R. L. Chandler at the corner of Ball and Garden Groves, near Anaheim, to determine the fertilizer value of this material on citrus fruits.
