Friday, April 8, 1921 Society: Clubs : Lodges : Churches CELERRATE ANNIVERSARY Mr. and Mrs. A. L. Schutz were victims of a most complete and altogether pleasing surprise Thursday evening when a number of friends neighbors and the members of Mr. Eygabroad's Sunday school class of the White Temple gathered at their home on Burton-ave, and proceeded to make merry. The occasion was their 25th wedding anniversary and proved to be an unusually enjoyable event for all concerned. The guests of the evening gathered in a body at the Eygabroad home on W. Center-st and took the bride and groom of a quarter of a century completely by surprise. The evening was spent in various dull games and one highly pleasing feature was the mock wedding which took place. Dr. Gelssinger performed the ceremony entirely to the satisfaction of the contracting parties and the witnesses. The Schutz home was prettily decorated with cut flowers and ferns and was a fitting place indeed for this occasion. During the evening Mr. and Mrs. Schutz were presented with a silver bread basket, silver tea spoons and other beautiful gifts by the members of the Sunday school class and the friends present. Refreshments were served as a fitting climax of the evening's pleasures. Those who enjoyed the evening with Mr. and Mrs. Schutz, the passing of the twenty-fifth milestone on the journey of life, were: Mr. and Mrs. Santee, Mr. and Mrs. Koys, Mr. and Mrs. Harvey, Mr. and Mrs. Marburger, Mr. and Mrs. Forsyth and family, Mr. and Mrs. Wilmson, Mr. and Mrs. Eygabroad, Mr. and Mrs. Kahly, Mr. and Mrs. Langdon, Mr. and Mrs. Lausch and son, Harold, Mr. and Mrs. Hollinghead, Mr. and Mrs. Pember, Mr. and Mrs. Elliott, Mr. and Mrs. Gregg, Mr. and Mrs. D. After court closed, an informal reception was held by Mrs. Eva Boyd, grand warden of the grand court. As grand court convenes next week this was the last opportunity to have this belated reception. The committee of this reception, with Mr. D. Jessurun, as chairman, Miss Jessurun, Mrs. Daniels and Mrs. Colton, assistsants, were highly praised in making this a success. During the evening Mrs. Boyd was presented with gifts from her friends. The next meeting of the court will be April 21 and a good time is scheduled. JOINT HOSTESSES Mrs. F. H. Houck and Mrs. E.
