Jupity Holbrook took Warren's fingerprints and sent them to the navy department at Washington along with the fingerprints of several other prisoners. A letter was received at the sheriffs office today with the information that Warren is a deserter. According to the letter he deserved from the receiving ship at Mare Island Jan 25. A reward of $50 was offered by the government for his arrest and return to the military authorities. Warren was arrested three weeks ago by Traffic Officer O. K. Carr who found him acting in a suspicious manner in the vicinity of San Juan Capistrano. "I'm Kid O'Durran, the prize fighter," said Warren when arrested by Carr. "You can't put those handcuffs on me." Carr says he had the cuffs on his prisoner by the time the latter got the defiant remark out of his mouth. STEWART 200 East Center-st Never Before In All Our Experience In the Selling of Orange Groves, Have We Had A More Attractive Offering Than This Little Grove and Home The price is such that anyone should be able to turn right around, immediately after selling off the present large crop, and sell the place for more money than it is costing with the crop included. Or, if the purchaser is one who desires the little place for a permanent home, and it will make a dandy, he may have the satisfaction of knowing that he got a strictly "toppy" grove and home at a price that many have paid for very ordinary, and sometimes inferior, properties. Domestic circumstances make it possible for us to give you the opportunity to acquire this grove at a figure which is considerably less than it is actually worth today. A large cash payment down is not required, and very liberal terms may be arranged on the balance. If you are one of those who have been thinking that they would get a grove when groves "come down," or if you are one of those who are sorry they did not buy before groves went up," we want you to see this. This offering is for a very limited time only. C. B.
