Thomas yesterday took the stand in Superior Judge Williams' court in her suit for divorce. Mrs. Thomas asserted that her husband frequently came home intoxicated and that he abused her and insulted her in the presence of her friends. She claims that on one occasion at Redondo Beach he struck her in the stomach with his clenched fist. Thomas in his answer to the complaint flatly denied all of her allegations and accused her of being familiar with other men.
