Friday, March 11, 1921 City Briefs Frank N. Gibbs went to Los Angeles today on business. Mrs. J. Bloyd Moore of Long Beach was an Anaheim visitor on Wednesday. Mr. and Mrs. Arthur A. Cohen moved into their new bungalow on E. Center-st today. Mrs. J. H. Ritchie returned today from a few days' visit with friends in Los Angeles. Miss Lathar Pember has taken a position with the Cleveland-Chandler agency on W. Center-st. Mrs. G. W. Curles, a teacher of the Los Angeles schools, visited in the school schools yesterday. Mr. Holly Schumacher's mother, Mrs. Schumacher, of Fullerton, has been visiting at his home for the last week. Mr. Maley, of West Coast, motored to Los Angeles last Saturday. Her brother, Mr. Rouden, returned home with her after several days' visit with his sister in Hollywood. Mr. and Mrs. L. C. Stevens, of La Habra, formerly of West Coast lease, were dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. G. Hunt last Thursday evening. Mr. Gene Tait and wife, Mrs. Bush and Miss May Tait were Anaheim visitors last Friday night. Little Elsie Junker is quite ill with diphtheria and also Mrs. Chris McCoy and little son. They are under quarantine. Mr. and Mrs. Engene, of Los Angeles, and Mrs. Floyd Tunla and two children were dinner guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. James R. Tunis on West Coast leave. Mrs. Smith, of Pasadena, was a visitor on West Coast last Thursday and Frida yat the name of Mrs. Tom MeGhee's and family. Mrs. William Kammerer, of Spadra, and her daughter, Mrs. Rickensa, motored to West Coast last Sunday at ternoon to visit friends, Mr. and Mrs. Tunla. Mrs. William McGhery, of Earlamont, spent last Friday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. McGhee, on West Coast. Edwin Heffner, of West Coast lease, was an Anaheim visitor last Friday, Saturday and Sunday at the home of his uncle, Joe Gibson. Sunday they motored to Pomona to visit his uncle, Geo. Heffner, and returned via Los Angeles and visited his aunt, Laura Heed, returning to the West Coast Monday morning. Mrs. Lou Edmund's little daughter, Louise, is staying with her grandmother, Mrs. Edmund, of Placentia while sickness so prevalent at the present time. Mr. Cogshell is sporting a new Foulely on the Union lease. Miss Regina Sieber, of West Coast, was a visitor at Santa Ana last Wednesday and Thursday at Mrs. Allen's home. Mr. and Mrs. Lou Edmund spent Wednesday night and Thursday with his mother, Mrs. Suke Edmind, at Picentia. Mr. and Mrs. Chester McQuarrie motored to Los Angeles last Sunday to hear Gen. Booth, of England. Gen. Booth is at the head of the Salvation Army. Mr. and Mrs. Jasper Carriker, of Fullerton, were visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Carriker, of West Coast, last Monda yevening. Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Eginton and Mr. and Mrs. James Robertson attended a party at the Ambassador hotel in Los Angeles last Saturday evening. Miss Evelyn McQuarrie is spending her vacation in Los Angeles at the Home of her sister; Mr. And Mrs. Hodge. Mrs. M.E.Wootan returned to her daughter's home on West Coast lease after a week's visit with her son; Mr.Wootan, and family of San Gabriel.
