EBELL PLANS FINE PROGRAM
The program which will be given Monday afternoon in the Ebell club rooms of the Masonic Temple at 2:30 o'clock promises to be one of rare interest and pleasure. The program will be in charge of Mrs. Kathryn Dyrt, writer of verse and lyric.
Mrs. Dyer, whose home is now in Long Beach, is a member of the Southern California Woman's Press and has recently won their approval and admiration by appearing before them and giving a group of her own numbers. Mrs. Dyer was one of the founders and is an honorary member of the Anaheim Ebell club and the members consider it a rare privilege to hear her on Monday afternoon. Those who have the pleasure of being familiar with her writings are looking forward to the afternoon with keen enjoyment. At present she is devoting some of her time to song writing, and winning laurels.
Mrs. Trotter of Seattle, Wash., who is the house guest of her sister, Mrs. Holland, will assist in the afternoon's program with two vocal selections. She will sing, "Twas April" by Nevins and "One Fleeting Hour" by Lee.
The hostesses of the afternoon will be Mesdames Harry Riley, Seymour, A. Nagel, Jones, Waite. They are trusting that all members will make special effort to be present as the program is a little out of the ordinary and promises a great deal.
The guests will have the pleasure of meeting Mrs. Dyer personally in the social hour which follows the program.

Burns Urges Filing Of Income Tax Reports
There are scores of men and women on Orange-co who have not yet filed their income tax returns.
And the time for filing without penalty ends at midnight, March 15 less than two weeks hence.
That income tax reports should be made out as quickly as possible was asserted today by E. B. Burns, deputy internal revenue collector.
"The man or woman who waits until the last minute to make out a report may encounter unexpected difficulties that will cause a delay beyond March 15," said Burns.
"I the report is not filed by the closing hour on March 15, the penalty provided by law must be added."
Burns said that number of gross irregularities have been discovered in reports attempting to account for profits on real estate sales.
"When a report is filed with me," said Burns, "I check it over before I send it to Los Angeles. There are some who are sending their reports directly to the office in Los Angeles. Every day I am receiving some of those reports back from Los Angeles for correction."

"Peg O' My Heart," with the famous American actress, Miss Audra Alden, will give one performance at the Grand Tuesday night, March 8 for which reserved seats are now selling at Heyling's Pharmacy.
There is but one company of the J.Hartley Manner's play entourage on the United States today and it this all-star show the people of Arnheim will be privileged to witness.
It is the desire of the local matrical managers, Messrs. Head & Ingram, that this offering not be confused with the stock company in as much as it is the same one as pearing in the best theatres in the largest cities.
Inasmuch as the seating capacity of the Grand is limited and the "Peg" company could not be hailed for more than one performance, no doubt, the demand for seats will be in excess of the accommodation hence reservations should be made quickly.
Also due to the efforts of the local theatre managers the prices for Anaheim will be small—that is far under the regular scale of prices.
The complete original production of "Peg O' My Heart" will be stage at the Grand and the play will be given the same detailed presentation as in cities many times the size of Anaheim.

While Hugh Edwards was giving some of his boy friends a "joy ride" in Ford truck Monday evening, he lost two of his passengers and recovered one of them considerably damaged. Nelson Gains and Jeff Rafll were sitting in the back of the machine and both were thrown out when it hit a rut on one of the rough roads east of town. The Gaines lad landed, he says, on his head and back and side and neck, with the other boy on top. He was brought home at office and was quite ill during the night, vomiting considerable blood at intervals. He is reported getting along nicely.
