RETURN FROM AUTO TRIP MONTH LONG YORBA LINDA, Feb. 4.—(Spl.)—Mr. and Mrs. G. W. Corbitt and son Hoyt, arrived home the first of the week from a month's motor trip they had intended to remain away longer but cut their stay short so as to spend some time in the Palo Verde Valley and when they got back there they did not like it and so came on home. They report a nice trip and all are looking better for the change. Mr. and Mrs. E. N. Gage, of Huntington Beach were visitors in town he first of the week. Mr. D. And Sheriff Jackson is wondering whether this is mute evidence of another kidnaping or holdup. The two hats were brot into the sheriff's office by W. H. Wulff, R.F.D. No. 1, Orange. Wulff said he found both of the hats in the middle of the Los Angeles-blvd between Norwalk and the state hospital. According to Wulff, there was no sign of a car or other vehicle about when he picked up the hats. Nor was there any evidence of a struggle on the highway. The woman's hat is a soft brown velvet model, trimmed with gilt. A black vell is attached. The man's hat is a grey fedora, size 7¼, and a price tax on the inside of the sweat band shows it cost $6 retail. Both of the hats are comparatively new. They will be turned over to the owners upon presentation of proof of ownership.
