NOTHING BUT TRUTH AT GRAND TONIGHT
At last Ana Helmers have a stock company they can enjoy seeing; and that is saying everything. The Trainer Stock Co., the new theatrical troupe which has included this town in its circuit, presented "Nothing But The Truth" to a full house at the Grand last night and easily won over their audience at the start. This is the third appearance of the newcomers and they will give another performance of "Nothing But The Truth" again tonight in order to accommodate the overflow of patrons who were unable to secure seats on the first night.
If you want to know how hard it is to tell the truth, go and see "Nothing But The Truth" and even if you don't know the secret of truth telling you will laught with everyone else at the many predicaments of a plunger who thinks $10,000 worth that he can tell the absolute truth for 24 hours.
Clinton Hodder plays the part of the plunger and thereby adds more laurels to his highly bedecked crown. J. Elwood Holly is a riot as the bishop, who, he claims, no head for business, bests the Wall Street bears in their den. Earl Lee, as one of the bears, is none the less entertaining.
Of the young ladies of the company, all come in for praise, both in their acting and their appearance.
