HENRY CONTESTS
ELECTION, CLAIMS
COUNT IS TIED
Arch Henry is contesting the high school election of last Friday. On the face of the returns Henry received 249 votes and Clark 250. Sparks was reelected. Henry states that a discrepancy of one vote in his favor had been found at Loara. In case this should make a tie, a new election would be necessary.
Reelected at Loara
Henry was reelected trustee of Loara grammar district, receiving 79 votes to 68 for Cornwall. This is the heaviest vote that was ever cast in the Loara district.
The Loara vote for high school board gave Henry 147, Sparks and Clark each 121. Katella gave Mr. Sparks 20, Clark 42, and Henry 5. Magnolia gave Henry 6, Clark 17, Sparks 16.
The school board must meet to canvas the election at 1 p.m. Fridays at which time the contest will be en up.
Chambers Reelected
Chambers' was reelected Anahale grammar trustee, receiving 191 votes for Chamberlain.
In the Fullerton grammar school election the contest was between C. Welton and O. M. Thompson succeed S. N. Fuller. There were two votes cast and Mr. Thompson received 121 and Mr. Welton 38.
There was no contest for Fullerton high school trustees. There were two names printed on the ballot, F.R.M. Dowling and J. B. Sievers, only two were elected.
The new trustee at Brea is A.Yost, whose term expires.
At Yorba Linda James Logsdon was re-elected.
Placentia district re-elected H. Leavitt.
Only three persons in the Oranthpe district voted beside the election board, and they all voted Vic Porter to succeed J. E. Durk.
Trustee Pickering was re-elected the La Habra district.

QUEYREL HOME IS ROBBED SUNDAY
PLACENTIA, April 2.—Special—The home of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Queyrel on the Stansferry ranch was robbed Sunday afternoon during the absence of the family. Ladies wearing apparel, a gold locket, two baby rings and other articles were taken. There are no elews.
Frank Haase who has been in service in France and has just returned to this country, was married in New Braunfels, Texas, today. He will bring his bride to California and they will visit with relatives here. He is a nephew of Mr. and Mrs. A. Plepenbrink and a cousin of Mrs. Albert Queyrel.
Otto Plepenbrink, brother of A. Plepenbrink is expected here soon from his home in Philadelphia, to make an extended visit with his brother and family.

COURTHOUSE NOTES
A final decree of divorce was granted to Ralph Leo Chapman against Lillian Leon Chapman. The couple came from Long Beach and were married before Chapman was of age.
C. Weytens has brought suit to foreclose a $950 mortgage against Amos E. Withey.
Suit for divorce has been brought by Dorothy Alleman against Roscoe C. Alleman.
H. A. Clifton of Long Beach, a steeplejack, has given the courthouse flagpole a new coat of paint and has strung a new rope in the flag pulley.
Arralignment of E. I. Dodson, who is charged with bigamy, was continued until 9:30 o’clock Fridty that Dodson’s attorney, Clyde Bishop, might be present.
O. C. Hare of Westminster has brought suit against G. E.-Mansperger for judgment on a $300 note.
F. M. Seelye has asked for letters of administration upon the estate of Isaac Misener. The estate is valued at $158.75.
