GROUP MEETING AT SANTA ANA FRIDAY OLINDA, Jan. 29 (Special)—The Centenary group meeting including Anaheim, Brea, Olinda, Yorba Linda and Santa Ana will meet in the M. E. church at Santa Ana, Friday evening. Banquet at 7 o'clock, then a good program and speeches by prominent M. E. men. J. H. Wood of the Santa Fe lease has gone to work for the Standard on the Emery lease. Mr. and Mrs. A. J. Johnston of the Puente lease spent Sunday with Mr. Johnston's parents at Long Beach. Mrs. Egelton of the Orange lease is enjoying a visit from her mother, Mrs. Arp of Los Angeles. Uric Beauchamp of the naval station at San Pedro spent the weekend with his brother, Mr. Beauchamp, on the Orange lease. Helen Johnston of the Puente lease spent Wednesday in Los Angeles. Dave Ross of the Columbia lease is able to sit up after quite an attack of the flu. Mrs. Thayer and children spent last week at the beautiful beach home of P. Hansen at Balboa. Funeral services for the late Mrs. Charles Foster (nee Jester) a former Anaheim girl who passed away at her home in Chino Sunday evening will be held at the funeral parlor in Chino tomorrow morning: 10 o'clock.
