BIG CLEARANCE SALE HITS TROLLEY Falkenstein's semi-annual clearance sale, an event that has come to be looked forward to by consumers of Northern Orange co., started off Saturday with a long lead over their last January sale. There were large numbers of buyers attracted by the prices which cannot be duplicated in Los Angeles stores. A great many consumers have begun to realize the truth of the assurance of merchants that prices on cotton, wool and silks are going to be higher before they are lower, because of the present enormous demand and the high prices of raw materials, and are laying in supplies while they are to be had at such bargains as Falkenstein's are now offering. This gives them ten acres centrally located within the city limits two blocks west of the high school and two blocks north of Center-st on West-st. The Everhardy place has a frontage of over 360 feet on West-st and the grounds are laid out in such a manner as to make it one of the most desirable residence places in our beautiful city.
