ANAHEIM — This is the week the goblins and witches take over here.
It marks the 40th anniversary of the celebration of Halloween. The festival this
It marks the 40th anniversary of the celebration of Halloween. The festival this year goes under the theme of "The Good Old Days."
Kicking off the festivities today is the business firms decorating contest. It runs through Friday.
The community costume breakfast is set for 7:30 a.m. Friday in Charles Pearson Park.
At 11 a.m. Friday the "Kiddie Kostume Parade," featuring more than 6,000 youngsters, will move through the heart of town.
Western High of Anaheim

Western High of Anaheim will meet Westminster High in the "Pumpkin Bowl" game at 8 p.m. Friday in La Palma Stadium.
Climaxing the big week will be the pageant parade at 7:15 p.m. Saturday, starting in La Palma Stadium with a backdrop of fireworks.
