ICERS HUNT FIEND WHO MURDERED CHILDREN
NEW BRUNSWICK, N. J., Dec 23. Within a few hours after little Gilbert Bein had been found murdered in a cellar in New York, the mutilated body of Tessie Kuscharski, 5, was found in the closet of a hotel room early today.
Bota children were slain by a bandit and police are working on the case that one man is responsible for the crimes.
Tessie's body was found in the hotel lobby at 3 a.m. by Patrolman William Savage.
Police had been searching for her night. She had been missing since 4 p.m. yesterday. Gilbert Bein was lured to the cellar under his father's tailor shop on the east side of New York Wednesday afternoon. Accident in a tab and killed with a club. It was not twenty-four hours later that Kucharski girl vanished.

Juice of three lemons, one and one-half cups of sugar, one juart milk. Mix juice and sugar, stirring constantly while slowly adding very cold milk. If added too rapidly, mixture will curdle. However, this does not affect quality. Freeze and serve.
Salmon Croquettes
One cup canned salmon, one table-spoon butter, one tablespoon flour, one-half cup milk, one-half teaspoon salt, dash pepper, one teaspoonful lemon juice, one egg and bread crumbs.
Put the fish into bowl, add the cream sauce and lemon juice; mix well with fork so that the fish is well broken. Set aside to get cold; mold into cone shape; roll in bread crumbs; then in an egg which has been beaten with one tablespoon milk, and then in bread crumbs again; fry in deep hot fat.
Senator Borah was talking about a lobbyist. "The fellow," he said, "is as resourceful and persevering as the Atlantic City girl who wanted a husband." That girl out there, an old lady said excitedly to a young man, pointing with her parasol out to sea—that girl out there is drowning. Why don't you swim out and rescue her? The young n.n addressed gave an embarrassed cough. Well, you see; he said, "It would hardly be good form. I rescued her yesterday."
Ignorance is never shown more effectually than in an attempt to conceal it. A countryman, wandering about a cemetery, came upon a stone which bore this inscription: "Sie transit gloria mundi" (So passes earthly glory.) "What does that mean?" he asked of the person who runs at work nearby.

Any breaking out of the skin, even fiery, itching eczema, can be quickly overcome by applying a little Mentho-Sulphur, says a noted skin specialist. Because of its germ destroying properties, this sulphur preparation instantly brings ease from skin irritation, soothes and heals the eczema right up and leaves the skin clear and smooth.
It never fails to relieve the torment and disfigurement. Sufferers from skin trouble should get a little jar of Mentho-Sulphur from any good druggist and use it like a cold cream.
