TO DARKEN HAIR
APPLY SAGE TEA
Look Young! Bring Back Its Natural Color, Gloss and Attractiveness.
Common garden sage brewed into a heavy tea with sulphur added, will turn gray, streaked and faded hair beautifully dark and luxuriant. Just a few applications will prove a revelation if your hair is fading, streaked or gray. Mixing the Sage Tea and Sulphur recipe at home, though, is troublesome. An easier way is to get a bottle of Wyeth's Sage and Sulphur compound at any drug store all ready for use. This is the old-time recipe improved by the addition of other ingredients.
While wispy, gray, faded hair is not sinful, we all desire to retain our youthful appearance and attractiveness. By darkening your hair with Wyeth's Sage and Sulphur Compound, you can tell, because it does it so naturally, so evenly. You just dampen a sponge or soft brush with it and draw this through your hair, taking one small strand at a time; by morning all gray hairs have disappeared, and, after another application or two, your hair becomes beautifully dark, glossy, soft and luxuriant.
This preparation is a delightful toilet requisite and is not intended for the cure, mitigation or prevention of disease.

It was atop a lurching, lumbering Fifth avenue 'bus where New York's great middle class does its lovemaking,' says a recent news letter. He was making no progress, that was evident. Other couples were cuddled up in each other's arms unabashed. He and she sat straight and prim." You didn't like olives at first "he asked. She agreed. "But you like them now?" She no pleaded, "certainly I same chance olive."

MEAT INJURIOUS
TO THE KIDNEYS
Take a tablespoonful of Salts if Each hurts or Bladder bothers—Meat forms uric acid.
We are a nation of meat eaters and our blood is filled with uric acid, says a well-known authority, who warns us to constantly on guard against kidney trouble.
The kidneys do their utmost to free the blood of this irritating acid, but become weak from the overwork; they get eluggish; the eliminative tissues clog and thus the waste is retained in the blood to poison the entire system.
When your kidneys ache and feel like lumps of lead, and you have eting pain in the back or the urine is cloudy, full of sediment, or the bladder is irritable, obliging you to seek relief during the night; when you have severe headaches, netvous and dizzy spells, sleeplessness, acid stomach or rheumatism in bad weather, get from your pharmacist about four ounces of Jad Salts; take a tablespoonful in a glass of water before breakfast each morning and in a few days your kidneys will act fine. This famous salts is made from the acid of grapes and lemon juice, combined with kithis, and has been used for generations to flush and stimulate clogged kidneys, to neutralize the acids in urine so it is no longer a source of irritation, thus adding urinary and bladder disorders.
Jad Salts is inexpensive and cannot injure; makes a delightful effervescent kithis water drink, and nobody can make a mistake by taking a little occasionally to keep the kidneys clean and active.

STOP IT,
DURN YE!
QUIT IT!
THERE-YOU PEST!
THE WURLITZER
(A musical novelty—Words and Music by Charles W. Hawley, Jr.)
Did you ever stop and ponder,
As you sit here in your chair,
How that mighty sweet voiced organ,
With sweet music fills the air;
How the very building seems
To vibrate and resound
The tones, of world instruments,
The greatest of renown?
Now we'll try and tell you
Just what and how its done,
And maybe you'll learn something,
And maybe you'll just have fun;
The first that fractions your tention is, the console, right in front,
Where the organist sits playing.
And for notes, sometimes hunts.
On is you see the keyboards,
And a row of tablet-stops
Which are really electric switches,
Put a bunch down—My! How it Paps—
Each tablet is an instrument
Of an orchestra grand,
And each instrument, so to speak,
Is at an instant command.
Hear the "Oboe" and now the "Flute,"
And now the old "Trombone" we'll toot;
Here's the "Violin" and "Snare Drum,"
Hear the mello "Cello" hum;
Blow the "Bugle" and "Bass Horn,"
Play the "Clarinet" all forlorn.
The big "Bass Viol" and "Bass Drum,"
Then the "Cornet" we'll play some.
Here's the "Xylophone" and some "Bells,"
The "Cathedral Chimes" and—Oh!
well!
The old "Fire Gong" and "Horses Trot."
Now what do you hear? It's a "Chrysacott'—
Here's the "Saxaphone" and "French Horns."
And the "Piccolo" now is born;
The "Fire and Set of Drums" now play,
Martial airs at the close of day.
The "Vox Humana" or Human Voice Is a stop of rarest choice
When the "Tremelo" with it is used,
The softest sweetest notes enauses—

the country where it will be played by such famous organists as Murtagh and Wallace.
Another composition by Mr. Hawley, "Pipl Organ Blues," will also be given at the theater Sunday and Monday. The words to this composition were written by "Chad" Hulbert. Any other selections desired by members of the audience will be played on request.

30 Acres of Maricopa Oil Land Bring $9,000
LOS ANGELES, Dec. 21.—Register Groves of the local land office yesterday sold at auction $0.91 acres of oil land in the Maricopa Oil District to the El Dora Oil Company for $9,000. Under the terms of the lease the company has a twenty-year right to prospect for oil and if it is discovered in paying quantities a royalty of from noe-fifth to one-eighth must be paid the government. At one time $90,000 was spent by the La Blanca Oil Company in exploiting this land. Differences amongst the stockholders resulted in the abandoning of the operations.

We'll imitate the "Scotch Bag-Pipes"
The "Grind Organ" on the street;
We'll imitate the old "Basson";
Before the "Charlon" sbricks;—
We could go this way forever.
Till the Judgement Day ensues,
But instead we'll wind up playing,
The new "Pipe Organ Blues."

Oh! Mysterious blues,
Those delirious blues,
You may hold out for a while,
But they'll have you acting like a child,

Harding Doubts Hays
Will Leave Cabinet
WASHINGTON, Dec. 21.—President Harding has not received "any suggestion whatever" of the rumored retirement of Will H. Hayes as postmaster general, it was announced at the White House yesterday afternoon. It had been rumored in political quarters here that Hayes has resigned in order to accept the directorship of a moving picture combination. It was further stated that President Harding does not believe that Hayes will resign, and "would be very reluctant" to see his retirement.
