BUICK POWER
The Valve-in-head type of motor long ago demonstrated that it was the most powerful and economical of all types of motor construction.
This is the reason that most of the world’s finest motor cars use the Valve-in-head type of motor construction.
Buick is a pioneer Valve-in-head motor car, and the present Buick motor represents the refinements of many years adherence to a principle.
EVERYBODY KNOWS VALVE-IN-HEAD MEANS BUICK.

HOPE HELD FOR SAFETY OF CREW MEMBERS OF SEA EAGLE
ASTORIA, Ore., Nov. 26. Renewed hope for the safety of nine members of the crew of the tug Sea Eagle, believed to have foundered off the coast of Oregon near Tillamook light some time early in the week, was expressed by Captain O. S. Wicklund of the Port Adams life saving station today.
Coast patrols have failed to find a single stick of lifeboat timber in all the wreckage up from the Sea Eagle, making it possible that Captain Jove and his crew managed to board the schooner Ecola, last seen in tow of the Sea Eagle off Coos Bay.

A snappy program of bouts featured the reopening of the Anaheim Athletic Club's weekly boxing program at the new arena last night. Each bout was chuck full of action from the word go. There was all kinds of fighting-boxing-slugging combined and the big crowd was thoroughly satisfied. In the main event, Jack Iman, the hard-hitting local 160-pounder, drew with Dan Mackey of Los Angeles in a hard battle. Both boys did some clever work and landed some telling punches.
In the semi-windup, Willie Hunt of Los Angeles and young Dudley of local fame, fought a wicked fight. Both boys went after each other right from the start and there was no letting up. Willie showed that he is a clever performer with his mitts and he kept Dudley busy trying to fathom his style. The colored boy put up his customary good fight and the draw decision was well received.
Bennie Heller of Perris and Ernie Farren of Seattle put up a whale of a fight for four rounds. Farren forced the going throughout but the Perris youngster was fighting back all the time. Some wicked wallops were exchanged by both lads. The draw decision was the only one to give. Young Burton also got a draw with George Sherman of Los Angeles after four hard fought rounds.
Kid Loule knocked out the Zulu Kid in the fourth round after the little darky had put up a whirlwind battle up to that time. In the curtain raiser Tommy Keyes of Fullerton and Young Roach of Anaheim pursued their way throughout their four rounds to a draw.
Strike of Loaders Ties Up Port Of New Orleans
NEW ORLEANS, Nov. 26.—The port of New Orleans was completely tied up today by a strike of between 12,000 and 15,000 cargo loaders and handlers who walked out in sympathy with the screwmen, who quit work Monday. About seventy ships are in port awaiting cargoes. The public cotton warehouses and ten private warehouses were closed. Steamship operators, under the protection of a large detachment of police began recruiting non-union men to fill vacancies. The strike was precipitated by a wage cut instituted by the operators which the screwmen rejected.
