Phone 705 Society CARRIE LOU EVANS, Editor PIANO RECITAL APPRECIATED BY AUDIENCE A large crowd packed the Guild hall last Friday evening for the piano recital given by a number of the pupils of the piano class of Miss Stella Schwentker. That this recital was a success was evidenced by hearty appreciation expressed by this attentive audience. The program from the first to the last was splendidly rendered both musically and technically and the pupils reflecter much careful training given them by their teacher. These talented young students have a bright future. Misa Faye Kern in her usual pleasing manner delighted the audience with her readings which were greatly appreciated as also were the readings of her pupil, Evelyn Magathan. PICNIC AND CHERRY PICKING AT BEAUMONT Sunday morning a group of young people from Anaheim, San Pedro, Norwalk and Long Beach motored to Baumont for a picnic. TO GIVE PROGRAM The Daughters of Veterans will give a Flag Day Campfire for the G. A. R. tomorrow, June 14 at 2 p.m. in the Fullerton public park. There will be a program consisting of speeches by Rev. A. B. Markle, "Boys of '65 and Old Glory"; Dr. Freeman, "Remembrances of Boys I Saw Fall in Battle." Talks by other G. A.
