Wednesdhay, May 25, 1921 CITY AND COUNTY Uncle Sam is determined to get a postmaster at Gloryetta, to replace the incumbent, who has resigned the position. An examination was held here recently. That is everything was in readiness to hold the examination. Since then someone may have decided to take a chance or it, Uncle Sam evidently figures, nor it was announced today that another examination will be held here June 25. The compensation of the postmaster at Gloryetta was $248 for the last fiscal year. —Entire luncheon at Fairyland Inn. We make home-made candies.—Adv. With the advent of June the marriage license bureau is slated to be the most popular department of the courthouse. County Clerk J. M. ("Cupid") Backs and his deputies are prepared for the grand rush.
