Hans Storm will be remembered by many of the Anaheim business men and also the morning's sales. Many of the articles of food were to be brought in this afternoon and will be sold out before evening. WEDDING AT WHITE TEMPLE, MAY 27, NEXT FRIDAY A wedding at the White Temple, which creates much interest, will take place May 27. This is a big social event, as the bride-to-be stated today that she had purchased her fancy wearing apparel, not direct from Paris and New York, but from Anaheim where as lovely gowns can be purchased as well as anywhere in the world. She says her wedding gown is a dream of beauty and was obtained from one of Anaheim's best costumers. Batoire, a well known lyric soprano, who has sung for some of the most critical musicians, has consented to sing Rev. George Imba Sceibe, a particular friend of the Janes family and a man of great power, will perform the ceremony. Owing to the illness of Miss Jones' secretary, no invitations have been issued, but it was learned today that they will be given out at the morning session of the Fidelis and Men's Bible classes at the White Temple at $30. Miss Jones urges all members of the classes and those that would like to become members to be present Sunday, so that they may be in on the secret. Oh people, dear, and did you hear The talk that's going round? How down in Orange county A perfect place they've found? This world, it is a grand old world, As you and I have felt, But it made it quite complete, This Orange Belt. Chorus Valencia, I'd like to "pinch" you; Valencia, I love you so. You be my Golden Talesman—I'll teach you how to grow. I've something sweet to tell you, And this much you must know, Oh, Valencia—encia—encia, I've made up my mind to "chinch" you; Valencia, I love you so. Then listen here, I'll make it clear, In this most perfect clime, There's a blooming little city, And they call it "An-aheim." They are coming from the eastward, And from out the middle west, For they keep a nearing Anaheim—"Anaheim is best." Chorus So please come to our Valencia show In Orange county fair, Where piles of Golden Beauties bright Are spread out everywhere, But whether it be oranges, This much we still protest, Oh, Sweetheart, young or old, "Sunkist" is best! LEAGUE OF NATIONS HAS 100 TREATIES GENEVA.—(By Malt to United Press).—That open diplomacy has made some progress since the war—despite all setbacks—was shown today when the league of nations announced a total of 100 international treaties had now been duly registered with it since Versailles. The last bundle to arrive included the Russo-British trade agreement, recently signed at London. Of the 100 mentioned above, England has registered 23. The Ambassador's Council, acting for the allied powers, has sent in 13, while Germany and France have each recorded 12. All Popular Songs Demonstrated By Howard L. Potter Hammel’s Music Store 124 E. Los Angeles Saturday, May 21, 1921 Fairyland Theatre Sunday and Monday Wallace Reid and Agnes Ayres in "The Love Special" A Paramount Picture Wallace Reid is widely known as the athletic star. This is perhaps because of the many outdoor pictures in which he has appeared, and wherein he has shown in many striking and realistic scenes, his athletic prowess. He has been seen in many thrilling fisticounters, he has raced madly around the great automobile courses for scenes in the series of auto race pictures in which he starred for Paramount—in fact in nearly every picture in which he is seen his physical powers have been displayed. Thus, it is apparent that "The Love Special," a powerful railroad story, at Fairyland theater Sunday and Monday, the scenes of which are laid in the mountains, is an ideal subject for a Wallace Reid picture. This is undoubtedly one of the most thoroughly out-door stories with which the star has yet been provided as the basis for a picture. It is of the same type of story as "The Valley of the Giants," in which Mr. Reid starred and which proved one of his most popular pictures. In the new production, the star plays the role of a railroad construction engineer and the majority of the scenes are exterior, filmed on mountain locations. With each new picture Mr. Reid's popularity grows. The Leading Music Store in Orange County extends to you a most cordial invitation to use its many conveniences while in the city. DANZ PIANO CO. Prest-O-Lite STARTING & LIGHTING Storage Battery Frest-O-Lite STARTING & LIGHTING Storage Battery Has Your Battery Anything “On the Bench”? THERE was once a Baseball Manager whose two-star pitchers looked invincible—before the game. But there came the baberuths. . . . 1 And the Manager Surveyed the Bench in Dismay. There are motorists who start out with a battery of no reserve power. And they run that battery down quite unconsciously. They are shocked one day to discover that everything has been “knocked out of the box” just when they need a start most! The Prest-O-Lite Battery uses less than one four hundredth of its power-reserve for a single start and the generator quickly replaces that. Robt. V.
