In the absence of both the senior and junior vice-presidents on account of illness, Mrs. Harriet Perry was elected president pro tem.

Kreck, W. H. Lowery, the class teacher, and Mr. G. Scriven as guests, and the members songs and recitations by the fourth, fifth and sixth grade rooms and by selections from the new school orchestra.
CARE OF BATTERY GIVES CAR COMFORT
Car owners are giving more thought to their battery's needs these days, according to Robt. V. Jensen, manager of the Prest-O-Lite station.
"It hasn't been so long ago that the average motorist seldom looked at his battery, or had it looked at to see if it needed a drink or anything. But times are changing."
"Motorists are coming to realize that their storage battery must be made to last as long as possible. This means the regular addition of distilled water every two weeks. We find that lots of motorists never bother to add distilled water themselves, but drive around here and let us put it in for them."
"This is a pretty good idea at that, because there may be some little thing wrong with the battery that the motorist himself might not discover. Our boys here always give batteries the once-over when they put in the distilled water."
