Almost everyone knows that Sage Tea and Sulphur Turns Gray, Faded Hair Dark and Glossy. Almost everyone knows that Sage Tea and Sulphur properly compounded, brings back the natural color and lustre to the hair when faded, streaked or gray. Years ago the only way to get this mixture was to make it at home, which is musky and troublesome. Nowadays we simply ask at any drag store for "Wyeth's Sage and Sulphur Compound." You will get a large bottle of this old-time recipe improved by the addition of other ingredients, at very little cost. Everybody uses this preparation now, because no one can possibly tell that you darkened your hair, as it does it so naturally and evenly. You dampen a sponge or soft brush with it and draw this through your hair, taking one small strand at a time; by morning the gray hair disappears, and after another application or two, your hair becomes beautifully dark, thick and glossy and you look years younger. Wyeth's Sage and Sulphur Compound is a delightful toilet requisite. It is not intended for the cure, mitigation or prevention of disease. Advertisement. RENT house space, local k. Miller of the executive committee of the American Legion said today: "When the slacker lists are published and the wheels of justice are set in motion the thousands of persons who evaded service through cowardice and in defiance of the law will be brought back." The publication of these lists will cause sensations in various localities in the United States. Men known in their communities are to see their names brought before the public as those of shirkers, who are willing to see other men die or be wounded in their stead. It will be hard work for a man to live down the stigma, which will attach to him when he publicly thus is branded. In addition to being pilloried before the people, he is likely to be sent to Leavenworth or Atlanta, or some other place equally pleasant to serve his months or years in contemplative retirement. There has been an impression that nothing would be done in the cases of these thousands of slackers except to print their names. The argument has been that there have been so many that the courts cannot handle them all, nor can the authorities bring them all to the bar of justice. The officials of the American Legion intend apparently to prevent if they can any slacking on the part of the government in its endeavor to arrest and convict slackers. It is believed that the officials of the administration in charge of the work of prosecution are in entire sympathy with the Legion's feeling in the matter and that the processes of arrest and trial will be started at once and not allowed to lag until every man who dodged his duty and gave somebody else the chance to die for him is made sorry that he did not enter the ranks and face fire with his fellows. Pinkham’s Vegetable Compound to Be the Best Medicine for Girls and Women Hamilton, Ohio — I had such awful pains in my back I could hardly stand on my feet and I was never without a headache. If I walked up town I thought I would drop and many a time I felt so bad I had up go to bed and I was not able to do much of my housework. I would have hemorrhages every two weeks and dragging down pains. I had been feeling badly for three years and had two of the best doctors in the city, but I kept getting worse and only welghed 125 pounds. I saw your advertisement and I took eight boxes of Lydia E. Pinkham’s Vegetable Compound tablets, four bottles Lydia E. Pinkham’s Blood Medicine and your Liver Pills and noticed an improvement right away. Now I weigh 188 pounds and feel fine. Everybody tells me how well I look and asks me what I took and I always say, “Lydia E. Pinkham’s Vegetable Compound, the best medicine in the world for any sickness to which girls and women are subject.” I will always have a good word for your medicine and you may use my name whenever you wish.” — Mrs. Joseph Williman, 722 South 9th Street, Hamilton, Ohio.
