Models will be used for classroom instruction in health and hygiene. In her expression of gratitude, Mrs. Anderson said, "Our boys and girls will gain greater understanding of the intricate make-up of both the eye and ear through the use of these models." The models may be taken apart, piece by piece; and are designed to show students the location of parts as well as each part's function and association with other parts.

SACRAMENTO, — Assemblymen Richard T. Hanna and Bruce Sumner announced today that Orange County received $215,639.44 as its share of highway users taxes distributed in April by State Controller Alan Cranston's office.

SACRAMENTO, — Assemblymen Richard T. Hanna and Bruce Sumner announced today that Orange County received $215,639.44 as its share of highway users taxes distributed in April by State Controller Alan Cranston's office.
Statewide apportionments for the month totaled $28,998,896. Cranston said. That sum was divided among the State, counties and cities in these amounts:
$17,979,508 to the State Highway Fund for expenditures on highways.
$8,502,719 to the counties.
$2,516,669 to the State Highway Fund for cities.
Total distributions for April increased by $2,652,829 or 10.90 per cent over those for April of 1958.
Moral Leadership Workshop Planner
For June at Los Alamitos Navy Base
Robert Goldthwaite, Vice Admiral, U. S. Navy, has announced that a moral leadership workshop, sponsored by the Secretary of the Navy and the Chief of Naval Air Training, has been scheduled at the Naval Air Station, Los Alamitos, from 9:30 a.m. June 10, to 3 p.m. June 11.
Invitations to the meet are being extended to educators, labor representatives, churchmen, curriculum specialists, industrialists, entertainers, writers, businessmen, child guidance counselors, youth institutional workers, law enforcement officers and members of the armed forces.
The purpose of the workshop is to study the trends and causes of moral decay and criminality, and through the combined efforts of civilian and naval leaders, seek to find techniques for the discovery.
Bullet Hits BP Youth In Knee Accidentally
BUENA PARK—A Buena Park youth was accidentally shot in the knee Sunday afternoon when he and two companions were examining a weapon, police reported.
Taken to Palm Harbor General Hospital where his condition was reported as satisfactory was Ronald Thomas McIntosh, 13, 7946 Azalea Dr., after a .38 caliber revolver accidentally discharged sending the bullet into the right knee of the victim, reports said.
Ronald told officers he had taken all the cartridges from the revolver to show it to his two companions and one of them replaced a bullet in the chamber. When the gun was handed back to Ronald it accidentally discharged, officers reported.
BP Detectives Probe Burglary of Equipment
BUENA PARK—Buena Park tectives are today investigating burglary of a gas station in which the burglar opened the lube gate and made off with more than $3,000 worth of cash, tools, equipment and tires, police said.
The station, located at 7491 Palma was entered between the hours of 5 a.m. and 7:30 a.m. Saturday morning according to police.
Owner John Silenzo, 33, of 62 San Ricardo Way, told officers that after an initial check of the premises he discovered a cash bag missing along with four tires, adding machine, a large box automotive tools, a three-quarter inch electric drill, an electric wrench, and a portable radio reports said.
The cash box which was taken was reported to have $60 in it from receipts taken in the previous day officers said.
The burglary was reportedly covered by patrolman Jim Welch who had checked the station at a.m. and again at 7:30 at which time the lube bay gate was found to have been opened.
