Narcotic Suspects Nabbed by SA Police SANTA ANA (OCNS) — Santa Ana police last night arrested three narcotics suspects. Pete A. Garcia, 19, of 185 N. Cypress and Richard Herrera, 19, of 160 S. Olive, both Orange; were arrested at 9 p.m. in the 700 block on Hawley Street in a routine "shakedown." Police claim they found a quantity of pills and capsules in the suspects' glove compartment. The settlement provides for undisclosed cash payments to Beckman for past damages and royalties for continuing use of the specified patents (Nos. 2,710,328; 2,361,010; and 2,454,986) by Carrier and Spectrol under license from Beckman. Requesting the property is Orange County Sanitation District. No. 3, which also deposited the sum of $50,124 as security for the immediate possession of the land. Among the defendants named in the action were the Huntington Beach Union High School district and the Fred H. Bixby Ranch. The irregular line extends from Cerritos Ave., in Buena Park area, south across Katella, Orange Grove Blvd., and finally down to the Huntington Beach area from Golden West to Wardens. Largest parcel as far as money was concerned was land owned by the Bixby Ranch. Listed at an amount for this land was $18,000. Included in the land sought by the district are 23 parcels.
