A SOUR NOTE... Who would think that when you walk up to a juke box at the corner drug or your favorite cafe and deposit your dime that you may be in citing violence? Tonight Circle Theater demonstrates how this is possible, as a drama based on fact, "Sound of Violence; The Juke Box Rackets," screens at 18 p.m., Channel 2. Frank Sutton, Val Avery and Vincent Gardinia star in the story about how racketeers use fear, violence and other methods to force juke box owners into joining their "business organization."
COMEDY CAPERS... Tallulah Bankhead is Milton Berle's guest in a partial repeat of another Berle show on which she appeared. 9 p.m., Channel 4. Ozzie imagines himself as various historical characters when the Men's Club decides to give a costume dance on the Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet. 9 p.m., Channel 7. Lyle Talbot guests.
SPORTSITES... Phil Moyer and Yama Bahama of Bimini square off for 10 rounds at the Portland, Oregon Armory on Boxing, 7 p.m., Channel 7.

By Vernon Scott
HOLLYWOOD (UPI)—Steve McQueen, star of TV's "Wanted — Dead or Alive" oat bin epic, has slouched his way into a top-flight movie, following the sawdust trail pioneered by Jim (Maverick) Garner and Clint (Cheyenne) Walker.
A sort of a beatnik without portfojio, McQueen fits a sleepy-eyed outlook on life that even a co-starring role with Frank Sinatra can't shake.
"It's nice," he said laconically.
"Like I'm playing a soldier in this picture, man. You might say it's a change from this Western thing I'm doing, right?
"You know, when I first came out here I'd never ridden a horse. But I tackled my role of Josh Randall in the series like it was 'Harlet' on Broadway. Spent four or five hours a day learning to ride. Even studied how to saddle and unsaddle my horse."
The blond, diffident actor abruptly changed the subject to his hobby—sports car racing.
"That's the way to live," he said. "When you're out there on the track you get rid of all your frustrations. It's a way to express yourself.
"Last week I broke the track record in a four-lap race. Only thing wrong is half way through the race my brakes went out on me, and things got pretty exciting for a while."
McQueen will share billing with Sinatra and Peter Lawford in "Never So Few," playing a role originally scheduled for Sammy Davis Jr.
The film won't interfere with his CBS TV series, however.
"They had to juggle my schedule around for this movie," he sighed. "But I'll be right back at it later this year."
