Reveal Final Central Committee Election Tallies SANTA ANA (CNS) — Orange County Republican and Democratic Central Committee election results were revealed today by County Clerk B. J. Smith. Smith's announcement was the first on official tabulatiins. The clerk said party committees were filled first because results weren't available after the election. The Board of Supervisors has finished its canvass of primary voting and deputy clerks today were carded—the Fourth and Fifth Supervisorial districts. County Electric Club Holds Meeting Tonight Sell-out attendance for the seven Tri-City Annex Trial Recessed to Aug. 2 SANTA ANA (OCNS) — The tri-city Coyotte Hills annexation trial was recessed yesterday afternoon to Aug. 2 because several key figures are in line for vacations. On the stand in Judge John Shea's Superior Court were four witnesses opposing Fullerton's 1765-acre annexation bid. Neil Pestal, Mary R. Ashbrenner, Frank Thayer and Arthur Stone, former La Habra Mayor — all property owners in residential strip above Fullerton — stressed they had been told Fullerton was after the Standard Oil land near Imperial highway. Witnesses testified they had been confacted by Fullerton representatives and urged to vote for the annexation lest La Habra and Brea annex their area. All testimony was designed to point out Fullerton was guilty of fraud in its annexation moves. County Jail Trustee Escapes Custody SANTA ANA (OCNS) — Orange County jail today is minus its plumber. Trustee Eddie Lee Weathers, 20, Downey, was told to check a plumbing leak in the rear of the jail. That was about 6 p.m. yesterday. County Electric Club Holds Meeting Tonight Sell-out attendance for the seventh annual Ladies Night of the Orange County Electric Club was seen this week when nearly 300 tickets were reported sold for the gathering tonight at the Villa Marina, Newport Beach. Members of the club, which covers all of Orange County, looked forward to a festive night, with dancing and scores of prizes as the drawing cards. Although only a little over a year old, officially, the club has been meeting for seven or eight years; formal organization of the unit was accomplished in February, 1953, with a charter membership of 75. The roster now has more than 200 names. President of the organization this year is Bob Ehorn, Santa Ana, Manufacturers' Representative. Other members of the executive committee who have been active in promoting the affair, are W. A. Perguson, Garden Grove; David Ullom, Santa Ana; Dick Anderson, Santa Ana; Nels Stafford Jr., Costa Mesa; Bob Finfrock, Santa Ana; Charles Kumler, Santa Ana; Jules Bergeron, Anaheim; Urban Beh, Newport Beach; and Nels Cheney, Santa Ana. Formed to foster interest in improvement in the electrical industry, the club is made up of electricians, contractors, manufacturers, wholesalers, and others in the industry. Programs include such "field trip" as those to the Torrance, Calif plant of Rome Cable Co., and Ruby Lighting in Los Angeles. Jail guards, checking on the slender blond trustee a few minutes later, found only his blue shirt and tools in the alley. Before a crowd of Optimists and their ladies, the affair was conducted by some of the highest officials in Optimism. Phil McHugh of Beverly Hills newly elected performed the installation ceremony as the incoming president Mitchell and his corps of officers officially accepted office. Dismissing the past year's officers headed by Lloyd Lichtenwalter, retiring Governor L. E. McKee of Long Beach congratulated the club as having one of the finest organizations in all of Optimist International. Orton Schafer, Lt. Governor of the 8th one, finished the traditional rites by presenting each officer with his lapel pin of office. Dr. E. C. Spires, member of the L. A. Harbor Commission and vast vice-president of Optimist International served as master of ceremonies. Funeral Notice CHRISTENSON, Russell W., 40, a native of South Dakota who came to Anaheim 12 years ago and who lived with his mother at 117 South Philadelphia St., died last night at an Orange hospital after an extended illness. He is survived by his mother, Agnes Christenson; four brothers, Harold D. and Ellsworth J. Christenson both of Wisconsin, Howard V. of Iowa and Maxwell D. Christenson of Washington and two sisters Mrs. Lee W. Maison of Covina and Mrs. Vernon L. Rold of Anaheim. He was a member of the Zion Lutheran church. YOUNGER, Mrs. Andy M., 55, of 11608 Sornson Lane, Los Nietos, died June 23 at the Santa Ana Community hospital. She was a native of Arkansas and had lived in Orange County for 12 years. She leaves two daughters, Mrs. DeMoy Hunt of Kansas and Mrs. Wilma Trindel of Buena Park; two sons, James O. of Norwalk and William of Los Nietos and seven grand children. Last rites will be conducted by the Rev. E. Woody Hodson of Fullerton from the Back Campbell and Kaulbars, with burial in Loma Vista Memorial park.
