Ana Lane Shop Buyer Views Winter Market On New York Trip
Mrs. Marian Weis of the Ana Lane shop at 180 West Center St. is back from a two week buying trip to New York.
"The trip was extremely interesting from the fashion viewpoint. I found that individual preference seems to mark such items as length of skirts and whether they will be pencil slim or full. The market presented both styles with the emphasis placed in desires of the purchaser. Trend in clothing is naturally to the winter woolens, jersies and crepes with the new materials more beautiful than ever before. Colors were not sombre but subdued some for general purposes and gayer for costumes for travel and cruising," said Mrs. Weis.
