Free on their own recognition were Arthur Olson, former owner of Olson's Jewelry Co., 223 West Center St., and the firm's new owner, Benjamin H. Stone. Jailed on warrants and later released on bail pending a jury trial set for July 10 in Municipal Court are Harry Aaron Selditz, 44; Los Angeles; and Edward Wellington Kwok, 48, of Long Beach. Police revealed that when a license inspector from City Treasurer's office called on Lelditz and Kwok for a permit, they allegedly refused to comply with the request. A warrant for the pair was later issued by the court on application of City Treasurer A. G. Tuma. Selditz is free on $250 bail while Kwok posted bond of $500 for his release. (UP)—Jane Russell's torrid song and dance in the movie, "The French Line" started with a tune that the actress banned as "too sweet and simple," song-writer Ralph Blane said today. Blane and his partner, Bob Wells, wrote the song, "I'm looking for Trouble," for Miss Russell's eye-catching dance in the film. But he said that after seeing her costume they decided to write a song free of innuendo, and titled "I Dress for the Weather." The song writer said when Miss Russell heard it she decided, "It's too sweet and simple. I want to be bad—just as bad as I can get away with." "She'd punch me in the nose if she heard me tell this," said Blane, "But she was the star and what she said went. So Bob and I rewrote it—actually, just about all we did was change the title."
