Gambling Device Bill To Close Loopholes WASHINGTON (UP) — Rep. Kenneth B. Keating (R-NY) has introduced a bill to make things tougher for slot machine manufacturers. The measure is designed to close loopholes in the present law dealing with gambling devices. Keating said the law was drafted so loosely that it failed to put the damper on the slot machine business. Present law covers slot machines containing "a drug or reel with insignia thereon" and other gambling devices which "operate by means of insertion of a coin, token, or similar object." Keating's bill would reach out to cover machines that get around this provision. There's No Substitute for Paid Circulation. RADIO and TELEVISION TOM DANSON'S...
